Huge gathering in Sanaa to celebrate birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
TEHRAN- Alsabeen square in Yemen’s capital Sanaa was filled with huge crowds to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Since early afternoon hours, all entrances to the capital Sanaa saw queues of cars carrying thousands of guests of the Messenger of Allah, who were keen to come early to the celebration square, the Yemen News Agency (SABA) reported.
The participants carried green and white flags as well as banners with the words of “welcome,” “love” and “loyalty” to the Messenger of Allah.
The participants also in the mass rally carried banners and leaflets expressing their immortal love and respect for the Prophet.
Such a huge gathering despite nearly eight years of the Saudi-led war on Yemen is highly surprising. The gathering shows the strong will and resilience of the people of this Arab country.
